Implement a voluntary energy efficiency disclosure program that encourages new and existing commercial buildings to annually report their energy performance and conduct energy audits. Develop working groups and resources to help developers and owners set impactful and achievable targets. Provide resources for developers and building owners to track and record progress toward targets. Determine cadence of reporting, suggested disclosure levels, reporting platform, performance improvement plans, and recognition of high-level performers. Raise awareness of disclosure programs and integrate data into better understanding community GHG emissions. Coordinate with Broward County and other regional governments on energy disclosure programs.
