Key West Transit Development Plan FY2025-2034
Proposed Alternatives
Proposed Alternatives The transit needs and associated alternatives were developed based on a comprehensive assessment that included goals and objectives, baseline conditions, outreach efforts, a transit gap analysis, reviewed plans, and a situational appraisal. These proposed improvements, also referred to as alternatives, have been prioritized through an evaluation process. The final prioritized list is then used to develop a 10-year implementation and financial plan. On the following page, Figure ES-3 illustrates these proposed alternatives, in addition to the planning/policy and capital/infrastructure needs listed here in Table ES-3 . The potential service improvements have been identified to serve different rider markets and offer varying levels of service. To effectively plan and implement these improvements over the next 10 years, Key West Transit (KWT) has prioritized these alternatives, utilizing both existing and new funding sources.
