LWI Region 3 Modeling Overview

Comparison Against Jan 2013 Event Floodplain extents from the modeled design storms were compared to two historic events (2013 and 2008) in which the 2013 event was similar to that in Atlas 14 100-year design storm. The floodplain extents and flows indicate that the model’s predictions are accurate (See Figure 4-24).
