Key West Rides On-Demand now serve a single zone in Key West, incorporating Stock Island. Full fare to use the service is $2 per trip w/ reduced fares for seniors and disabled. 2.8.4 Islamorada, Village of Islands Islamorada, Village of Islands contracts through Freebee, a private mobile-app based transportation provider, to provide on-demand transit for the Village. As the provider’s name implies, the service is free to the public. Three vehicles, including two environmentally-friendly Teslas and a larger, wheelchair accessible vehicle are available to provide service throughout the Village.

Middle Keys Transportation - Demand Response Services for Elderly, Disabled Guidance/Care Center a.k.a Middle Keys Transportation is the designated Community Transportation Coordinator (CTC) for Monroe County and provides Special Transportation Services (STS.) Guidance/ Care Center (GCC), as a 501(c)(3), non profit organization. The CTC is responsible for administering a countywide system of transportation for all Monroe citizens who are transportation disadvantaged. For over 20 years, GCC has operated Middle Keys Transportation. All riders must be qualified through an application process of the GCC and meet the eligibility requirements established in the Monroe County Transportation Disadvantaged Service Plan. Reservations can be made between 8:30am and 4:00pm (Monday through Friday) and provide at least 48-hour notice for trips within the county and 72 hours for out-of-county trips. Middle Keys Transportation also has an answering machine available for riders to leave a message, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The Freebee Electric Vehicle Ridesharing Service began in November 2018, operating one vehicle on Upper Matecumbe Key, In March 2020 the Village added two vehicles that allowed the service to be extended to locations throughout the village.
