Development of Variable ARF for ROM Modeling A variable ARF shapefile was developed using flow accumulation grids and stream junction analysis within the HUC8 watershed ( Figure 4-7). { The stream network was simplified to a dendritic structure with a defined outlet. { Drainage points were identified using flow accumulation and assigned to upstream subbasins. { Each subbasin’s ARF was determined based on its drainage area and location relative to the outlet using Depth Area-Duration tables from HEC-MetVue. { Upstream basins had minimal or no ARF reduction, while ARF values decreased progressively downstream.
