Route 302 : Card Sound Express Route 302 also originates at the SW 344th Street Park-and-Ride lot, connecting Florida City to Card Sound, North Key Largo and the Ocean Reef Club via Card Sound Road. Service span: Operates 7 days/week. First trip leaves Miami (SW 344 St Park and Ride) 5:30 AM, last trip arrives in Miami 5:35 PM Service Characteristics: 4 daily round trips (average around 3 hours between trips, but not clock-face headway). Running time is 35 minutes one way, 1 hour, 25 minutes round trip (includes layover/ recovery time). One bus is required for operation. Service Volume Revenue Vehicle Hours •Daily 6 •Annual 2,191 Revenue Vehicle Miles •Daily 165.41 •Annual 60,416 Ten buses are required to operate current schedule in Marathon, Route 301 serves the same location as the Key West Transit Lower Keys Shuttle, which connects Marathon to Key West. However the two route’s schedules are not coordinated, which often results in significant wait times to transfer between the routes.

According to the October 2023, DTPW Ridership Technical Report, boardings by service type and route for the average weekday, Saturday, Sunday, and total monthly counts for October 2023 (Oct 23) and October 2022 (Oct-22) include the percentage change between the two years. Ridership, which was still recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic in 2022, increased by more than 20% between October 2022 and October 2023.
