Autodesk InfraWorks is an infrastructure design and planning tool that supports rapid development of an intelligent 3D model. The early application of InfraWorks improves project delivery through realistic, accurate and to-scale visualization that supports project decision-making, consensus-building, and public support.

As a preliminary design platform, InfraWorks supports quick modeling, analyzing, and visualizing of civil infrastructure designs within a project’s context. Geospatial (GIS), CAD, LIDAR, and BIM data sets are used to build the InfraWorks base model, which is supplemented with buildings, roads, rail, sidewalks, parking lots, and other critical design details.
