VISUALIZATION AND DATA INTELLIGENCE

DIGITAL TWIN DELIVERY VDI’s Digital Twin Delivery team offers expert consultation, strategic planning, implementation, data collection and compilation, resource management, and project management. Our services support the entire ecosystem of assets, users, and environment and facilitate integration with real-world systems management. And our expertise includes the ability to fully survey site locations in intensive detail by deploying LiDAR, drone surveys, robotic cameras, and various point cloud survey strategies. A relevant building information modeling (BIM) implementation framework supports VDI’s approach to digital twin delivery. We use industry leading, third-party tools from Autodesk, Bentley Systems, Esri, and other technology vendors to customize automation that holistically protects sensitive information in all phases of the cybersecurity life cycle for all business and government security levels. EDITORIAL SERVICES The Editorial Services team collaborates with other VDI teams to deliver textual solutions for a range of audiences and clients. Our editors—who are intimately familiar with industry recognized style guides such as Chicago Manual of Style or Associated Press Stylebook—are adept at working with subject matter experts to provide scientific and technical reports, presentations, newsletters, proposal materials, websites, and more that are reader-friendly, consistent in tone, and free from obvious (and not so obvious) language errors. We shepherd the editorial process from creating MS Word templates, to honing the language for draft/ interim/final products, to then delivering these final products (whether as Word documents or PDFs) that meet the requirements of Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (as amended), which requires information to be accessible to persons with disabilities. With “accessibility for everyone” as our guiding principle, we meet WSP’s “quality mindset” objectives and are always curious to engage and comply with new and emerging standards.

DESIGN VISUALIZATION VDI’s Design Visualization team specializes in modeling small- to large-scale infrastructure projects. We partner with industry leaders Autodesk and Bentley Systems to leverage their software tools as part of our planning and modeling processes, and our adaptable workflows and processes support broad data sets and integrations. Our design visualization artists apply the latest photo-simulation and 3D software (modeling, rendering, animation) to support a project’s design, planning, construction, and maintenance phases. At city or regional scales, our team provides end to-end design visualization solutions through consultation, project management, and production. Additionally, we research and apply cutting-edge technologies for experiential deliverables, including real-time interactive models, virtual reality, and augmented reality.
