2.5 Field Observations

2.5.1 Infrastructure Many bus stop facilities need infrastructure improvement along both the Key West Transit and MDT routes.Bus shelters vary in design, age, and condition, and many require attention for ADA compliance issues and to allow air flow to reduce heat risks. Future investments including restroom facilities at selected transit stops would improve public infrastructure and enhance the transit experience for passengers.

The observations noted by the survey team are categorized by infrastructure, signage, and Safety and Security.
