2.5.2 Signage The team observed that bus stop signs often are not in place at designated bus stop locations, causing both daily users and visitors to miss buses and, ultimately, discouraging use of the system. Many riders hail buses by flagging them down or waving their hand, a potential safety risk for both the waiting passenger and those onboard the bus. Lack of signage also results in buses bypassing passengers waiting at unmarked stops. On route 302, there are reports of buses not stopping at bus stop shelters marked with signs and shelters. Separate or easily identifiable signage for Route 302 should be considered when designing and implementing the signage system.

Route 301 needs an annunciator to make it ADA-compliant for people with visual impairments. Development, Land Use and Zoning. Compared to vehicles operating on the LKS, vehicles operating on routes 301 and 302 were in less than satisfactory condition. The vehicles used on these routes are over-the-road coach buses that are not configured to accommodate standing passengers (standees) on the buses. When the bus was full during peak hours, standeers have no handgrip or bus pull ring to hold. This creates an uncomfortable or unsafe feeling while traveling. Standing on board buses is not safe at speeds above 25 miles per hour, and future service improvements should provide enough service capacity on these routes to make seats available for all passengers under normal conditions.
