o PROP SD CONCRETE CIRCULAR PIPE o PROP SD CONCRETE ELLIPTICAL PIPE o PROP SD METAL ARCH PIPE o PROP SD METAL CIRCULAR PIPE *Only the 60” Structural Plate pipe was included in the PROP CC METAL CIRCULAR PIPE catalog because it is a special category of pipe that is metal only. Concrete was used for proposed circular pipes. The reason for this decision is because contractors can use metal, concrete, or plastic pipes at their discretion if those pipes meet NMDOT specifications. Concrete pipes, however, are conservative in wall thickness size, so they were chosen to be how circular pipe are modeled. For existing pipes, all materials are available. This allows true sizes of pipes to be most accurately modeled. For arch and elliptical pipes, the material of the pipe is unique to the pipe size, so all options are available. For structural plate pipes, only one size of both circular and arch was added to mitigate the number of parts in the catalog. The other structural plate sizes may be added later by NMDOT. 3.2 STRUCTURES The structures catalog contains an assortment of standard and custom structures with NMDOT specifications. These structures are modeled to the highest level of detail possible, given the limitations of Civil 3D and the IPE export process. A full list of structures is included in Appendix A . Parts are organized based on Standard Drawings number and how the parts are listed in the bid item list. The inlet and manholes options come from the Bid Item List and are organized by their size and type. The depth ranges for the manholes and median drop inlets were removed to eliminate the number of duplicate structures and because the user would have to know to swap out parts when they reach certain depths. As a result, each of the part families for the inlets and manholes have only one size option, since the actual structure has the same dimensions. The depths of manholes and inlets can be modified directly in Civil 3D,
